Ladies of Auxiliary

"Founded in 1919, The American Legion Auxiliary has nearly 1 million members from all walks of life. The Auxiliary administers hundreds of volunteer programs, gives tens of thousands of hours to its communities and to veterans, and raises millions of dollars to support its own programs, as well as other worthwhile charities familiar to Americans. It is all accomplished with volunteers." - http://www.legion.org/auxiliary

At Post #149 auxiliary members help our local community by volunteering their time and service. Every year auxiliary organizes fundraising for charity events, they make food baskets to help families in need, cook delicious meals for our local vets, and lend a helping hand on post activities.

We have also started a Juniors Program for Americanism .
